Realme has launched the Realme GT Neo 2 in China

Earlier this year, Realme GT Neo was launched in the month of March. Now, the successor of this model, the Realme GT Neo 2, has been launched in China. Let’s talk about the specifications, price, and availability of the upgraded model.

The smartphone is powered by a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display. There are three different variants based upon RAM and internal storage.

Specifications and Features of Realme GT Neo 2 :

Coming first on its display, the Realme GT Neo 2 features a 6.62 inch E4 AMOLED Samsung display which provides 1,300 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and DC dimming. Additionally, it comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 600 Hz touch sampling rate.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC powers the Smartphone. Inside the phone, you will get a maximum of 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage capacity. However, a maximum of 7GB of dynamic RAM expansion support is also provided by the device.

The Realme GT Neo 2 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup at the rear. So, which camera sensors are you getting with the model? You are getting a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8 MP of the ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Along with that, an LED flashlight will also be there. For the selfie capturing, you get a 16MP front camera.

Moreover, the Realme GT Neo 2 has a massive 5000 mAh of battery with 65 W of SuperDart charging support. The company claims that the device can be charged from 0-100% in just 36 minutes.

The smartphone comes with the latest Android 11 operating system and a Realme UI 2.0 is present on top of it.

Price and Storage configurations:

Realme’s GT Neo 2 is available in three different variants. Firstly the basic variant comes with 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage and the price is CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 28,500). 

The second one is coming with some more additional storage of 128GB and with the same 8 RAM. And it has been priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 30,800).

And finally, the top model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity, and the price is set at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 34,200). 

The sale for these three variants will start on September 27 in China. The Realme GT Neo 2 provides three different color options: Neo Green, Pale Blue, and Shadow Black. For the global launch, the company didn’t give any date but they promises soon the smartphone will be available.
