Specifications
According to ThePixel, the Redmi Note 11 4G worldwide variant will come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset. The Chinese variant features the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. The decision appears to be motivated by the lack of MediaTek processors in Xiaomi’s manufacturing facilities.
However, this isn’t the only change between the Chinese and international versions. The Redmi Note 11 series will not adopt the ‘flat edges’ design for the global launch of their devices, as we previously reported. This also applies to the Note 11 4G. The body and sides of the smartphone are believed to be designed in a more classic Redmi Note style.
Other characteristics of the Redmi Note 11 4G are believed to be the same as the Chinese version. Specifically, it could feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, a 1,500:1 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Helio G88 chipset is used in the Chinese version. It has 4/6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of storage.
Moreover, the phone sports a triple-camera configuration on the rear. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Additionally, the device is equipped with a front-facing 8-megapixel camera.
Lastly, the phone should come pre-loaded with the MIUI 12.5 operating system, based on Android 11. As for connectivity, the phone can feature Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, IR blaster, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio connector. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging capabilities.
Pricing
The source has hinted at the worldwide variant’s price. It could cost around $199, making this phone an attractive buy.
