The batteries of Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra are recently certified by 3C in China, along with their capacities. The two batteries are listed under the model number EB-BS906ABY and EB-BS908ABY. The former is believed to be for Galaxy S22+. While the latter could come packed in the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Moreover, the EB-BS906ABY listing reveals that the battery has a rated capacity of 4,370mAh, so it should lie in the category of 4,500mAh battery. On the other hand, the other battery features a rated capacity of 4,855mAh, putting it into the 5,000mAh capacity category. What’s more, the latter battery capacity is in line with that of Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Interestingly, the 3C forum doesn’t feature the battery capacity of the vanilla Galaxy S22. It only has the batteries capacities of the other two variants. However, an earlier leak from Ice Universe revealed that it could come with a 3,800mAh battery capacity. It is less than that of the Galaxy S21.

Furthermore, earlier this year in Feb, TUV SUD in Germany certified a 65W Samsung charger. In the previous models, including Galaxy Note10+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Samsung has offered a maximum of 45W chargers. Whereas, the company offered a maximum of 25W charging support on models from the S21 series. Hopefully, the Galaxy S22 Ultra might come with support for the new 65W charging adapter with model number EP-TA865.
