Zain Kuwait has recently introduced its Vo5G services. However, only Samsung Galaxy S22 Series supports it, as of now. In other words, Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra users will be the first that can use Voice over 5G communications. What’s more, Zain Kuwait has become the first operator to offer Vo5G communications; after extensively testing. The company completed the full-featured standardizations of the first phase of 5G. Now, finally, it has started the commercial process of 5G networks.
It is worth mentioning that 5G Internet services have become normal, but 5G voice calls are not something heard of. As previously stated, Zain is the first operator to launch Vo5G services with nationwide coverage in Kuwait. What’s more, Huawei first introduced the “Vo5G Technical White Paper” in 2018. The company analyzed the evolution of Vo5G under different 5G networks.

Benefits of Vo5G
Just like any new version, 5G offers various benefits over its predecessor. For instance, it will offer improved speech and video calling quality, and new voice and communication services. Plus, it also offers simultaneous voice calls and 5G data services.
Zain has stated that the commercial release of the new service is done after thorough testing to find out the network’s readiness as well as technical capability.
5G voice solution will offer some options to the users
Analyst claims that 5G solutions will offer several options to the users, including VoNR, VoeLTE, EPS FB, RAT FB, and more. According to Huawei, the 5G SA scenario voice in 5G has two stages. The first stage or the early stage of network construction will use the EPS FB i.e 5G falling back to 4G transition scheme. Whereas, once the network is optimized, the voice will be transformed to VoNR.
