Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy S22 series range, including three models, just like last year. From the new series, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is a high-end flagship geared at Note fans, the S22 and S22 Plus are cheaper flagships featuring top-notch cameras, and environmentally friendly design.
Although the Galaxy S22 and S22+ don’t appear much different from their predecessors; they do feature a premium glass and aluminum design. On top of that, both the devices pack an Armor Aluminum frame. According to Samsung, it is the strongest on a Galaxy phone to date. They are also the first phones to feature Corning Victus+ Gorilla Glass.

Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus specs
Another interesting aspect of devices is they feature a new material made out of a fishing net. Samsung announced the same earlier this week. The company has also used post-consumer recycled materials in the speaker module; the inner sections of the power and volume keys on the phones.
Under the hood, the devices feature the Qualcomm flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. However, in some areas, the phones will come equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2200 processor.
Moreover, the Galaxy S22 features a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,300 nits of peak brightness. On the other side, the Galaxy S22+ sports a 6.6- inch display with a peak brightness of 1,750 nits.
In the camera department, both devices feature a 50 megapixels main camera. it is about 23% larger than the one on the Galaxy S21 and S21+ phones. The sensor offers Adaptive Pixel technology, which helps phones to capture colors that make your content glow, even in the dark. Plus, there is a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom are also included.

For battery, the galaxy S22 features a smaller 3,700mAh battery with support for 25W charging, while its bigger sibling S22 plus features a 4,500mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
