Earlier reports suggested that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S22 in early February. Now, a recent report from Samsung confirms the information. On top of that, the company has also revealed the Galaxy S22 launch date and pre-order information.
If Korean publication DDaily is to be believed then Samsung will announce the Galaxy S22 on February 8, 2022. The report further adds that the device will arrive for pre-order on February 9. It will start shipping on February 21 with store availability starting from February 24.
In terms of colors, the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ might arrive in multiple color options, including Beige, Black, Green, Grey, Light Blue, Rose Gold, and White. Plus, the S22+ variant might also arrive in Violet color. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra may arrive in Black, Dark Red, Green, and White color variants.

Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra specifications
The Galaxy S22 might feature a 6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. Whereas, the S22+ could feature a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED display panel. What’s more, both the devices could feature a Full HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Plus, the display panels should feature support for HDR10+ and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader. The most interesting aspect of the display is it features 1,700 nits of peak brightness.
For imaging, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will feature a triple camera setup, housing a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The 10MP telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom. On the front, there is a 10MP selfie camera. The Galaxy S22 is packed with a 3,700mAh battery and the Galaxy S22+ could feature a 4,500mAh battery.
Lastly, the Galaxy S22 Ultra could don a 6.8-inch LTPO Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. In the camera department, the device might feature a 32MP front camera for selfies. On the back, it, includes 108MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two 10MP telephoto cameras.
