Samsung One UI 4.1.1 to Debut With Galaxy Flip 4 and Fold 4

Samsung Exynos 2022

Samsung is known to release a new version of One UI with a new device every year. This year too the company might follow the same tradition it has been following for years. For instance, Samsung has already released One UI 4.1 with Galaxy S22 series. Now, it might release One UI 4.1.1 with its new foldable devices, including Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. What’s more, it appears as if the upcoming One UI version will remain limited to Samsung’s foldable devices, including older smartphones.

One UI 4.1.1 features

We don’t know much about the features of the forthcoming One UI 4.1.1. That said, it will definitely include new features aimed at Samsung’s foldables. So, users can take full advantage of their Samsung fold devices.

Moreover, Samsung might release some minor features that are compatible with other Galaxy smartphones and tablets. However, it has been Samsung’s style to bring new features to non-foldable devices without dropping a new One UI version on them.

Release

As for the release date, the One UI 4.1.1 will launch with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 later this year, as discussed earlier. In addition to that, it should reach other compatible devices in the weeks to follow after that.

Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that Samsung is also working on One UI 5.0 based on Android 13. Once it is out, most Samsung devices should jump directly to version 5.0 and not 4.1.1. We will let you know the other details about the new OS version as soon as we receive it. We expect more to come our way as we will move closer to the release.
