We are closer to the release of Android 13. Google has rolled out several new beta releases in the last few months. According to recent rumors, Samsung is also working on a new skin based on Android 13- One UI 5. A newly reported screenshot from the early versions reveals several key insights about the new skin variant. What’s more, earlier reports also suggested that the company could start the One UI 5 beta program by late July. However, it didn’t become a reality. That said, now the company is finally rolling out the Android 13-based program for Galaxy S22.
As of now, the company has launched the One UI beta in South Korea for its latest flagship devices. Soon it will roll out to other countries as well. Specifically, Samsung will release the program in Germany and South Korea followed by the United States in the coming weeks. It is important to note that the new update is about 2.5 GB in size, but it includes the August 2022 security patch.
However, the company has not announced the beta officially. As a result, we are not sure if the program will arrive in other EU countries or not. As per tweets, and Reddit posts, from Galaxy S22 Germany owners, the new program is going live in their country.

Details about One UI 5
The upcoming Samsung skin will introduce up to 16 preset color themes according to your wallpaper. It is important to note that users will get all of that excluding 12 color options for the home screen, icons, and quick settings panel. Moreover, the new skin also stacks widgets on top of each other, similar to iOS 16. However, this feature will be available to select Galaxy phones.
Furthermore, Samsung has also improved the camera app as a part of One UI 5. Specifically, it has included more options in the Pro mode. Plus, the zoom bar will also work better while using the camera with one hand. Lastly, users will have to use the Samsung Members to become a part of the Android 13 beta for the Galaxy S22 series.
