Samsung Working On Fix For Galaxy S22 Ultra Screen Flickering Issue

Some early users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are experiencing screen flickering issue. Only the Exynos edition of the new Samsung phone appears to be affected by the problem. The flickering effect on the screen is seen by the afflicted users, especially while using the under-display fingerprint sensor. Despite the fact that the actual cause of the issue has yet to be uncovered; Samsung has acknowledged the screen flickering issue on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The company will soon offer a patch through software update.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra display starts flickering when set to QHD+ resolution and Natural colour mode; according to user accounts on social media sites such as Twitter and Reddit. When users use the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the screen, the flickering effect arises. It also appeared on a few occasions when a person was watching a YouTube video on their phone.

According to certain user reports, the problem persists even on replacement units.

Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available starting March 11 in India

Some customers who were able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from its initial batch were the first to identify the problem. Pre-orders for the phone are still open in numerous places, including India, and it will be widely accessible on February 25. The Galaxy S22 series will be available in India on March 11th.

According to GSMArena, the problem exists even on the Galaxy S22 Ultra review sample. This suggests that the problem isn’t confined to a small number of people.

While responding to consumers on social media, Samsung acknowledged the issue and offered a software update to remedy it. In the interim, it advises impacted users to switch their phone’s display resolution to full-HD+ (1080p).

To momentarily rectify the problem; customers should shift to Vivid mode or set the resolution to full-HD+, according to the statement.
