The Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition from OnePlus features some software trickery

If you can find one in your country, the OnePlus Nord 2 is undoubtedly one of the greatest mid-range smartphones available right now. The OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition has officially joined the Nord family as a limited-edition smartphone. The firm has also announced that you may enter to win one as part of the announcement.

OnePlus has a long history of limited-edition smartphones. The OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition, an Avengers-themed OnePlus 6, and a couple of phones co-designed with McLaren have all been released in the past. With a customized finish and other software features, the brand’s new Pac-Man edition OnePlus Nord 2 adopts a similar tone.

OnePlus wants to combine the finest of the famous Pac-Man video game with its mid-range phone. While we haven’t seen the new smartphone yet, OnePlus claims it has a dual-layer design with phosphorescent paint on the bottom, which makes the phone glow in the dark and displays Pac-famous Man’s maze.

Few Software Tricks of Nord 2 Pac-Man:

The Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition also has a few software tricks on its sleeve. The Oxygen OS UI of the device has been redesigned, according to OnePlus, and is now loaded with customizations. The company has also added a lot of gamification to the UI, including games, challenges, and a variety of special Pac-Man-related features.

OnePlus representative Oliver Zhang provided further details to Android Central in a statement. Custom icons, static and dynamic backgrounds, UI components, custom animations, and custom camera filters will be included in the Pac-Man Edition. According to the rumor, the internals of the OnePlus Nord 2 will be identical to the current OnePlus Nord 2. A 90Hz AMOLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 CPU, 50MP primary shooter, and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W rapid charging are among the features.

The OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition will come in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It costs €529, £499, and €37,999, respectively.
