The RAM Plus function is allegedly coming to the Samsung Galaxy A52 with the October security update. The new functionality enables a RAM upgrade of up to 4GB. It allows the phone to practically increase its built-in RAM to improve multitasking. Because this is a security update, the Samsung Galaxy A52 may receive a slew of bug fixes. To obtain the RAM Plus feature as well as the security patches, you check for the update and apply it.
The RAM Plus feature for the Samsung Galaxy A52 is now available, according to SamMobile. It was first made available for the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G last month, but Samsung has since expanded it to include the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. The company has added the Samsung Galaxy A52 to the list of supported devices.
How to get RAM Plus feature:
Go to Settings and search for the new update to see if the phone has received the October security patch. After you install the update, go to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory to see if the RAM Plus feature is available.
RAM Plus, often known as memory paging, is a feature available in Realme phones under the name Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE). It improves multitasking by supplementing the built-in RAM with 4GB of memory from the storage. As previously said, the RAM Plus function increases the phone’s overall performance.
According to the source, Samsung is planning to include the RAM Plus functionality on all Galaxy phones released in the previous year. The above-mentioned procedures should be followed by users to check for this functionality. If this functionality has not yet been implemented, the South Korean behemoth is anticipated to do so soon, most likely with the One UI 4.0 upgrade.
