The launch date for the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G in India has been planned for September 29, according to the South Korean tech giant. Samsung has also verified some of the smartphone’s major characteristics, as well as its availability. A full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a triple back camera system, a 5,000mAh battery. And 12 5G bands will be there in the Galaxy F42 5G. The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will be the first 5G smartphone in the Galaxy F-series lineup. And it will be the fifth F-series smartphone in India in 2021.
Availability of the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G:
According to a Samsung webpage, the company will reveal the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy F42 5G on September 29 at 12 pm IST (noon). The company will sell the smartphone on Samsung’s website, Flipkart, and at a few select retail locations. The Galaxy F42 5G will arrive in Black and Blue color choices, according to images on the website.

The Galaxy F42 5G will include a full-HD+ Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate. And it will also add a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which will support 12 5G bands, including N1 (2100), N3 (1800), N5 (850), N7 (2600), N8 (900), N20 (800), N28 (700), N66 (AWS-3), N38 (2600), N40 (2300), N41 (2500), and N78 (3500).
A triple rear camera system with an LED flash placed in a square module is included in the Galaxy F42 5G’s optics. A 64-megapixel main sensor with Night Mode is the focal point of the camera system. Samsung will include a 5,000mAh battery that is will provide customers with enough power to last a whole day.
The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will include a fingerprint reader built in the power button on the right spine, as well as a volume rocker, according to the photos posted on the website. A 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB Type-C connector, and a speaker grille are all found on the bottom.
