Xiaomi has confirmed that its next-generation Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro flagship smartphones would arrive on December 28th in its native market of China. The news has come after weeks of leaks and rumors.
Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s Founder and CEO, revealed a teaser poster on his Weibo account. Alongside the poster, he also unveiled that the upcoming Xiaomi 12’s display has received A+ ratings by DisplayMate. He further claims that the smartphone has made 15 new screen-related records for DisplayMate. However, the CEO has not revealed further specifics.
According to Lei Jun, the Xiaomi 12 has a high-precision AMOLED display. It allows 16,000-level screen brightness adjustment. On top of the screen, the device features the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection.
