Xiaomi 12 Series Released Globally With 120W Fast Charging

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 12 in the global market. On top of that, the company has also released the Xiaomi 12 Watch S1 series and Buds 2T Pro earphones. The new premium device is a successor to Mi 11 series that debuted last year. What’s more, the company has revealed only two devices with top-end specs, including Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro. 

Unfortunately, there is no Ultra model, as of now. The company did introduce the watered-down version of the regular model- the Xiaomi 12X.

Moreover, the company has not announced an Indian launch, at the moment. Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 11 Ultra in the Indian market last year. However, the company didn’t bring Xiaomi 12 Ultra to India. Hence, we will have to wait to find out if it will bring three other models to India or not.

Xiaomi 12 series specification

The Xiaomi 12 Pro will be the first device to feature 120W fast charging support. It can juice up the device in just 18 minutes. The device will come equipped with a 6.73-inch display panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1440 pixel resolutions. The screen will have a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top for protection.

Under the hood, the device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired up to 256GB of storage option. It will draw power from a 4,600mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. Plus, it also has 50W wireless charging support.

For imaging, the Xiaomi 12 Pro houses three 50MP sensors. The ultra-wide sensor offers a field view of 115-degree, and the other one is a 2x telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 32Mp camera for selfies.

The regular Xiaomi model features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits of peak brightness levels, and Dolby Vision support. It includes a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The device also has 50W wireless and 10W reverse charging support.
