Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant is preparing to release the Xiaomi 13 series this year. It is the successor to the Xiaomi 12 series that received a great response from across the world. According to a source, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has an improved primary camera and processor than its predecessor. Two variants, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro may be part of the Xiaomi 13 portfolio when it debuts in China the following month.
The smartphone’s main camera is most likely to be updated to a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, according to tipper Yogesh Brar. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor may be used in the forthcoming smartphone, according to the tipster. It will continue to have the same triple rear camera setup, though.
Additionally, the business has a partnership with Leica, a manufacturer of cameras, to provide users with improved colour processing.

Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro purported features
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will have 8/12GB RAM and come in three storage configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB, according to a tweet from Brar. The forthcoming phone will have a 4,800mAh battery and enable 120W fast charging. It will also run an Android 13 OS based on MIUI 14.
A 6.7-inch LTPO display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate will be available on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The new smartphone is also said to have 50MP main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses, exactly like its predecessor. The selfie camera will have a 32MP sensor in the meanwhile.

The standard Xiaomi 13 is expected to have a 6.38-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout, according to a recent report. A 50MP primary camera and 67W rapid charging support are further features.
