On September 27, Xiaomi released the Civi smartphone in China. The Chinese tech giant’s new smartphone has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 778G SoC in the Civi is combined with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also features a triple rear camera arrangement with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. What’s more, the Xiaomi Civi includes Dolby Audio-enabled dual speakers.

Xiaomi Civi pricing
The newly unveiled Xiaomi Civi costs CNY 2,599 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant (approximately Rs. 29,600). The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will set you back CNY 2,899 (about Rs. 33,100), while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model will set you back CNY 3,199. (roughly Rs. 36,500). The new Xiaomi smartphone will be available for purchase in three color options: blue, black, and pink from Sept 30.
Cameras
The Civi comes with a triple back camera system that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. It also has a 32-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video calls.
