Xiaomi Introduces MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition Global Release

Xiaomi has introduced the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition globally. The update is already out for select several in China. As of now, Xiaomi has released MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition for the Mi 11X in India. The device is called POCO F3 globally; it has also received the update.

The updates also include the August 2021 security patch. Plus, they are being released for some devices as Stable Beta builds. That said, recently, we have come across information suggesting otherwise. Adimorah Blog revealed recovery and OTA files for both builds. According to Xiaomi, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition will bring ‘swift performance’, ‘focused algorithms’, ‘atomize memory’, and ‘liquid storage’ to Xiaomi smartphones. Overall, the update is targeted to improve the power consumption of the device at the same time it will also boost the performance.

It is worth noting that we could have never guessed that Mi 11X and POCO F3 will be the two devices to receive the 12.5 Enhanced Edition first. What’s more, the firm will start releasing the update in the next quarter- Q4 2021. So, we still have a month before we will start getting the update.
