The Google Pixel 7a, a rumored affordable mid-range smartphone, might launch in 2023. It is said to offer a significant improvement over all previous A-series Pixel phones. The Pixel 7a will reportedly have wireless charging and superior cameras. In order to offer the flagship Pixel experience to a more affordable smartphone, Google unveiled the Pixel 3a, the first gadget in the company’s A-series. To do this, the search giant used less expensive materials. With each succeeding A-series release, the business has, however, reduced the gap between the flagship features, quality, and experience.

Google’s choice to release the Pixel 4a 5G alongside the Pixel 5, both devices boasting the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, served as an illustration of this strategy.

Google Pixel 7a expected specifications

According to a 9to5 google report, the Pixel 7a could get a significant upgrade over its predecessor. According to reports, the phone will have a triple rear camera with a 50 MP sensor, a 64 MP telephoto sensor, and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The future Google smartphone may be equipped with the same Google Tensor G2 technology that was used in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, according to the report.

The phone should also support 5W wireless charging and have other wireless charging features. It is said that the phone contains a “P9222” chip, a wireless power receiver.

The rumored smartphone’s official release date is still to be determined.

Additionally, if the rumors are true, the Pixel 7a might be the first Google phone to have a ceramic body. If accurate, this would be a significant change for the Pixel A series, which up until now has primarily included phones made of plastic, glass, and metal.

The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are part of Google’s recently released Pixel 7 series. In India, the pair is equipped with the Tensor G2 chipset. The starting prices for the smartphones are Rs 59,999 and Rs 84,999, respectively.

In contrast to the Pro model, which has a triple back camera arrangement, the Google Pixel 7 has two cameras. On October 13, both smartphones were made available for purchase on Flipkart and were sold out quickly.
