Samsung Galaxy Watch 6

Samsung’s big event, the Galaxy Unpacked, is just around the corner on the 26th of July, 2023.

And guess what we’re all excited about?

The brand new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6!

If we go by Samsung’s past patterns, we can look forward to seeing this shiny new smartwatch in the market by August.

People are really excited and can’t stop guessing about the new models that might be coming out. These might include the Watch 6, Watch 6 Pro, and Watch 6 Classic.

While some were hoping for a Galaxy Watch 6 Pro, it’s looking more and more like the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will be the star of the show.

So, let’s get ready to explore what might just be Samsung’s best smartwatch yet!

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6: Design & Display

The design and display of the Galaxy Watch 6 series promise a blend of sophistication and functionality.

According to Ice Universe, a well-known Samsung leaker, the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro/Classic might feature a round display encased in Sapphire crystal glass, while the Galaxy Watch 6 could come with Gorilla Glass protection.

We expect both variants to flaunt a curved glass design, which will make them visually appealing and user-friendly.

Rumors suggest a titanium finish for the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro/Classic, perfectly complementing its Super AMOLED display.

The screen size might also see a hike this year, from 1.4 inches to 1.47 inches, with a sharp resolution of 470 x 470 and 2000 nits of brightness. Leaked images of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic suggest that the beloved rotating bezel might make a comeback, much to the delight of its fans.

Rumored Specs

Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Watch 6 will be available in two models: a 40mm version and a 44mm version, while Galaxy Watch 6 classic will come in a 43mm and 47mm version, each outfitted with an AMOLED screen and sapphire glass.

Although crafted from aluminum, the watch 6 is reportedly 28% lighter than the Watch 5 Pro and 40% lighter than the Watch 6 Classic.

We expect it to operate on an Exynos W930 chip, equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, powered by a 300mAh (40mm & 43mm) or 425mAh (44mm & 47mm) battery.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is predicted to feature a rotating bezel made from stainless steel.

It’s also expected to provide various features such as notifications, vibration mechanisms, a built-in microphone, speaker, and voice control capabilities.

The device might boast many health features, including a pedometer, SPO2 level, heart rate monitor, ECG, calorie counter, and sleep reader.

The sensors could include an accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, gyroscope, compass, and thermometer.

Expected Features

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is expected to operate on Google’s Wear OS, enhanced with Samsung’s own One UI Watch software interface.

Both smartwatches will include the BioActive sensor, which collects data on heart rate, ECG, and blood oxygen levels, enabling comprehensive fitness and activity tracking.

We also expect other sensors, such as a temperature sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor, to deliver advanced health and wellness data.

With just a few days to go for the Galaxy Unpacked, the excitement surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is at an all-time high.

While these are still rumors, they paint a vivid picture of what could be Samsung’s best smartwatch yet.

So, gear up for the big reveal and get ready to experience a smartwatch that is bigger and better than ever before!
