AMD and Microsoft have officially released fixes to address issues with Ryzen CPUs via the Windows 11 upgrade and Drivers release. Specifically, the latest Microsoft Windows 11 patches and driver releases have resolved AMD Ryzen L3 cache and CPPC2 issues. Windows 11 didn’t perform as usual on AMD processors due to a configuration issue with AMD’s technology and Microsoft’s newest operating system.
However, now, AMD has finally published a chipset driver that fixes the UEFI CPPC2 (Collaborative Power and Performance Control 2) driver. It was responsible for performance issues by delivering data threads to specified cores.
Moreover, Windows 11 will soon upgrade to the latest patch for all the users. As a result, you may get the most recent AMD driver here for convenience.
Microsoft will include the fix in the Windows Update that will be available today (2000.282 patches, KB0006746). Windows 11 was having issues with latency in the L3 cache, as well as bandwidth issues.
