In 2021, Google revealed that it has plans to bring Android games to Windows PCs during The Game Awards. It essentially means that Google will release an Android app store for Windows, but it will remain limited to games. Now, Google is implementing the same. It has rolled out an option for users to sign up for the limited beta of the new Google Play Games for PC. However, there is a catch, at least for now, the option is currently limited to Hong Kong, South Korea, or Taiwan.

List of games under Google Play Games beta

Google has not released the full list of games for beta, but here are some of the games that testers can enjoy:

  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
  • Summoners War
  • State of Survival: The Joker Collaboration
  • Three Kingdoms Tactics

Note: Google has stated that the list of games will differ according to region.

Moreover, Google has also revealed that users under beta can play games thanks to a standalone application made by Google. Even then, we are not sure whether or not games will be functional at beta’s launch. Plus, we also cannot comment if all the games will support the entire features.

Minimum system requirements

In order to play the games, you need to have the following system configurations:

Windows 10+ (v2004), at least an 8-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 20GB of faster SSD space, and a few selected gaming GPUs. In short, you will need a top-notch gaming machine to play the games, but you don’t need Windows 11.

Anyways, Google has mentioned that it will lower these requirements in the future.

In any case, we will have to wait to get our hands on the new Android-game-on Windows platform from the test market.
