While assembling the Video Editing Build for ₹1.5Lakh, we’ve put extra emphasis on three things I/O, CPU performance and, upgradability. Choosing the right CPU is most important while building a video editing build. Video editing build needs a CPU with more number of cores and threads for faster video processing
1,50,000 INR Professional Video Editing PC Build
For the processor, we have selected the Intel i7 13700K. i7 13700K is a 16-core CPU with 12 threads. It comes with a Performance-core base frequency of 3.40GHz and an Efficient-core base frequency of 2.50GHz. Similarly, it comes with a Performance-core max turbo frequency of 5.30Hz and an Efficient-core max turbo frequency of 4.20GHz. Additionally, the processor comes with 30MB of Intel Smart Cache and a max turbo power of 253W. In terms of video editing performance, the i7 13700K is currently one of the best processors for video editing tasks. And, since the video editing task is CPU-intensive, we have added DEEPCOOL Castle 240 EX ARGB to keep the CPU temperature in check.
For the motherboard, we have gone with MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WIFI. MAG Z790 Tomahawk WIFI supports 12th and 13th gen Intel CPUs and 4 DIMM slots that accommodate 128GB of DDR5 RAM. As per connectivity, this motherboard supports 2.5G LAN, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. Furthermore, Z790 Tomahawk comes with four M.2 slots, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A and C port, HDMI, and a Display port. The Audio is handled by the latest Realtek® ALC4080 Codec, which supports up to 32-bit 384 KHz playback. Additionally, this motherboard supports Mystic lights to sync and control RGB components. Overall, this is an excellent high-end motherboard.
For the RAM, we have opted for TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5 6000MHz. T-Force Delta RGB is a uniquely designed RAM with 120° Ultra-wide lighting and supports XMP 3.0 profiles for easy overclocking. Furthermore, this RAM comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
For the graphics card, we have used the Asus RTX 3060 Dual OC V2 LHR 12GB, which ensures proper GPU acceleration for encoding and rendering tasks. Asus RTX 3060 Dual OC V2 LHR 12GB is a dual-fan design graphics card with a backplate to enhance the rigidity of the graphics card. Additionally, Asus RTX 3060 Dual OC V2 graphics card comes with 0dB technology that ensures silent operation under low load.
For storage, we have selected Kingston KC3000 1TB M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD. This Gen 4 SSD can offer blazing-fast read and write speeds of 7000MBps and 6000MBps, respectively. Furthermore, this SSD comes with a five years warranty.
For the power supply, we have gone with ADATA XPG Core Reactor 650 Watt 80 plus Gold. XPG Core Reactor 650W is a fully modular 80-plus gold-certified power supply with 90% efficiency under 50% load. Additionally, this power supply comes with a full array of protection suits and a 10-year warranty for peace of mind.
Powerful PC requires robust cooling for that reason only, Lian Li Lancool 215 ARGB is our choice for the computer case. Since this is a video editing build, the CPU will be pushed to its limits during CPU-demanding tasks and thus requires better cooling. . Lian Li Lancool 215 ARGB is a high-airflow case with two 200mm ARGB fans on the front and a single 120mm fan at the rear. This computer case supports a 360/280mm radiator at the front and a 240/280mm radiator at the top. The RGB effects can be either controlled by the RGB button on the computer case or the motherboard RGB software. Pressing the LED button on Lian Li Lancool 215 case for 3 seconds transfers RGB control to the motherboard RGB software. Furthermore, this computer case comes with proper cable management. Overall, this is an excellent high-airflow computer case without being overly expensive.
